From January 30 to February 12, 2026 at the Palazzo della Cultura, the exhibition “icònA”: nine original works featuring Saint Agatha created by Giovanna Brogna Sonnino, Giorgio Distefano, Alice Grassi, Giuseppe Livio, Santo Pappalardo, Maurizio Pometti, Cetty Previtera, Filippa Santangelo, Alice Valenti.


The exhibition marks the conclusion of the first round of a project launched last year from an idea by the cultural association Basaltika and organized together with the Committee for the Feast of St. Agatha as part of the "Catania is Home" awareness campaign by the Municipality of Catania, with the aim of using the language of contemporary art to raise public awareness about the issue of small illegal dumps scattered throughout the historic center.
Visits every day from 9 am to 6 pm.
Free admission.
